To become CERTIFIED, coaches are required to be evaluated on-ice after the clinics have been completed:

Option #1 – If you intend to become CI Certified, it’s recommended that you request an evaluation after completing the CI clinic.

Option #2 – If you intend to become CIg Certified, it’s recommended that you request an evaluation after completing both the CI Clinic and CI Gradation Clinic. You will be completing both the CI and CIg evaluations on the same day. This will save you money, and the evaluator time and travel.

Option #3 – If you choose to upgrade from CI to CIg (and you have completed the CI evaluation), request a CIg evaluation after completing the CIg clinic.

CI and CIg evaluations can be completed together (if the CI clinic was taken within one season of the CIg). Note: The cost of the CI and CIG is $50 per evaluation. When completing both together, the cost is $75.

Coach:

• Complete the request form (available online).
• Submit the request along with appropriate fee (by cheque made payable to the Ontario Ringette Association or by PayPal) to the ORA office.
• Complete the evaluation(s) at the scheduled time.

• Administration:

• Notify the appropriate regional Coaching Coordinator, who will assign a Coaching Evaluator.
• The Evaluator will contact the coach to schedule a time to complete the evaluation(s).
• When the documentation is received – Notify the coach of the results and record the information in the database and arrange payment for the Evaluator.

• Evaluator:

• Upon completion of the evaluation(s), the Evaluator will send the documentation and expense claim to the ORA office.
