University Ringette: What Are My Registration Options?
You have two (2) options to choose from if you decide to play University Ringette:

1) Play in the University Challenge Cup (UCC) only

2) Play in a local Ringette association league and play in the University Challenge Cup (UCC).

  • Method One
Members of a team formed to play in the UCC only do not have to registered with ORA except to pay dues/insurance ($5.00). Complete a Membership Registration Form and submit the form and fee to the ORA office. If you are already registered on an ORA team through your local association you do not have to submit the $5.00 dues/insurance fee. Teams formed to play in the UCC only CANNOT play in any league, sanctioned tournament or in exhibition games against or involving any ORA registered teams.
  • Method Two
Members of a team formed to play in a local Ringette association league and the UCC must registered through the local Ringette association and submit the required fees. The team must follow all rules, practices and policies governing play. These teams are eligible to play in leagues, exhibitions games and sanctioned tournaments including the Provincial Championships.
The UCC is not an ORA or Ringette Canada sanctioned event.
