The Canada Winter Games will start this Friday in Whitehorse and nine ringette teams from across the country will be on hand competing for gold. Ringette is the only sport being played on opening day, with two games in the line-up (PEI vs. Ontario and Nova Scotia vs. Quebec). Finals will be played on Thursday, March 1.
