New Ringette Canada Policy

Ringette Canada has recently set a new policy which sets minimum age and experience criteria for officials wishing to take the Level 2/3 officiating clinic. The policy states the following:

"The minimum age for an official to attend a Level 2/3 clinic is 16 years of age as at December 31 of that playing season. The official must have also attended a Level 1 clinic a minimum of two playing seasons prior to the current playing season. Note: Any officials that attended a Level 2/3 clinic prior to the 2006 season that are underage will retain their current level and may continue to be evaluated to Level 2 or Level 3 accordingly, and will not be required to attend another Level 2/3 clinic when they reach the age of 16."
