SARAH FABBRO

Sarah-Anne Fabbro is 17 years old. She was born in Ottawa on May 19, 1985. She grew up quickly-being the oldest of five children, with two brothers and two sisters. She is currently living with her family in Gloucester. Sarah-Anne is in grade 12 as a part-time student at Colonel By Secondary School. After graduating in the spring she plans on attending the University of Ottawa, studying Health Science. If she is not destined to work in the medical field, she can see herself being a firefighter in the future.

Sports have always played a huge role in her life. They have taught her to be grounded and goal-oriented while working with a team to achieve a common goal. Over the years she has participated in horseback riding, played baseball, soccer, tennis, field hockey, and hockey. Most sports have come and gone over the years, but ringette has been a part of Sarah-Anne’s life for over 12 years.

She has played for Gloucester since the day she could skate. Last year she played for the Gloucester Devils Belle "AA" team. Over the years she has accumulated many provincial medals, but last year was her first time winning gold. Her team went on to represent Ontario at the Nationals in Regina last April. This past season she also played for the Eastern Region "AAA" team. They had a successful year and won gold at the Ontario Winter Games.

If Sarah-Anne is not training, practicing, or coaching ringette, she would most likely be found snowboarding, partying with friends, working out at he gym, or working at a hockey pro shop.
