MEMBERSHIP NOTICE

REGISTRATION – NEW SYSTEM

As outlined in previous correspondence and Registration Procedures documentation, the Ontario Ringette Association has converted to a Microsoft Access based system commencing this season.

One Association from each Region has agreed to assist with testing the system for Electronic (floppy disk) processing this season, to ensure the system is problem free before releasing computer processing "en masse" to all Associations. This process will be available to all Associations next season.

In the meantime, the new system will still improve the process of inputting registration information at the ORA office from registration documents received from Associations prepared in the usual manner. In this regard, we would like to process a number of registration documents by early November to determine how much processing time is actually involved. Accordingly, should any Association have their Registration completed within the next week or 2, we would appreciate receiving your Registration Package immediately upon completion, so that we may verify the amount of time required to complete the input of information from a number of Associations
