2002 World Ringette Championships

Ringette Canada is seeking bids for the 2002 World Ringette Championships. The successful bid will be selected at the Ringette Canada Annual General Meeting on June 11, 2000.

The duration of this event is one week, to be held between October 1^st and December 1, 2002. Bids must include specific dates proposed for this event.

The successful applicant will have a large body of volunteers with experience at running such events. This event should not necessarily be any harder to organize than a large tournament, except for length and profile. It must be a well organized event that demonstrates high standards and attention to the players. The event will be required to provide significant marketing and promotional value to the sport of Ringette.
