MEMBERSHIP NOTICE

ELITE DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE

At the February 5-7, 1999 meeting of the Board of Directors, the formation of an "Ad Hoc" Elite Development Committee was approved. The Committee will consist of a Chairperson and one (1) member from each Region (Region Representatives to be appointed by the respective Regions).

Initial duties will entail attending Standing Committee Meetings on the weekend of April 16-18, 1999 to review requirements of an Elite Development Program and develop plans for Regional All-Star Teams to attend the 2000 Ontario Winter Games.

Individuals interested in being considered for the Chair position should advise, Al Fletcher, Vice President Technical, no later than March 19, 1999. Mr. Fletcher can be contacted at: (905) 575-0312, Fax: (905) 575-7111. The Chairperson will be appointed by the Board of Directors from those interested in the position.

Each Region will be selecting an individual to represent their respective Region on this Committee.

For information purposes, candidates for the Elite Development Committee do not necessarily have to be members of any Regional All-Star Team Bench Staff.
