Jen Carter was born on March 3, 1984 in Victoria, B.C. She has lived in Gloucester, Ontario for over 17 years. She is currently in her OAC year at Gloucester High School, and hopes to go to the University of Ottawa to study human kinetics. Jen hopes to become a police officer one day.

Jen has been playing ringette for the Gloucester Devils since she was four years old. She has represented Ontario at three National Championships and has won two bronze medals. Last year she played for the Eastern Region "AAA" team where they won gold at the Ontario Winter Games.

At school Jen plays field hockey, hockey, and soccer. She has also previously played volleyball for five years. During the summer Jen plays competitive soccer for the Gloucester Hornets. This season they won the silver medal at the Ontario cup. In the past two years her team has played in the Ontario Youth Soccer League and they placed second both years. She is not too sure where she will end up soccer wise next year, but hopefully she will be able to play for her University.
