ON MOTIONS DULY MADE, SECONDED AND CARRIED, IT WAS RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
Motion D5-04-01 "That the Agenda be adopted as presented".
Motion D5-04-02 "That the Minutes from January 2005 Board of Directors Meeting be adopted as presented".
Motion D5-04-03 "That we accept the officiating registration process attached".
Motion D5-04-04 "That the Elite Officiating Development Program report be accepted as presented".
Motion D5-04-05 "That upgrades for Level 1 and Level 2 to be approved by the Regional Co-ordinator. Level 3 and Level 4 by the Officiating Development Chair".
Motion D5-04-06 "That we need to add Job Description for Evaluations Manager to the ORA Manual".
Motion D5-04-07 "That we change the date on Page 21, b, iii, from December 15th to January 1st".
Motion D5-04-08 "That 4A Officials be removed for Provincial Selection Process. Provincial Evaluators be added to Provincial Selection Process".
Motion D5-04-09 "That the final ranking list for Provincial A and AA selection be used to select official for Tween Eastern Canadian Championships".
Motion D5-04-10 "That the Selection Criteria for Tween Eastern Canadian Championships be modified to restrict officials from attending consecutive events".
Motion D5-04-11 "That Page 12, 5, iii Suggested fee schedule be modified with slight increase:
AA and A - (20min. halfs) $25.00
AA and A - (15min. halfs) $20.00
B & C $18.00".
Motion D5-04-13 "That to accept the new Coaching Chart as attached and updated on the ORA website and the ORA Manual".
Motion D5-04-14 "That to be eligible to attend Provincial Petite Championships, teams must have attended two ORA sanctioned tournaments at the Provincial Petite Level one of which must be out of the region. Exceptions from NE and NW teams will be reviewed by the G&T Committee".
Motion D5-04-18 "That the "Volunteer Recognition Program" and "Volunteer Recognition Awards" be changed "Recognition Program" and "Recognition Awards" within context of the "Recognition Program".
Motion D5-04-19 "That all players (all age divisions) and bench staff (head coach, assistant coach, trainer and manager) registering after November 15th must register immediately with the ORA office on an Information Change Form (I.C.F.). Appendix M-F-10".
Motion D5-04-20 "That the following text be added to the bottom Membership Services section 12. e, Page 24: Please complete and forward to the Region Membership Services Co-ordinator by November 15th. Please complete to the Regional G&T Co-ordinator as part of the Pre-Tournament Requirements".
Motion D5-04-21 "That an exception be made for the 2005 Volunteer Recognition Awards in that West Ferris and Upper Ottawa Valley both receive the Association of the Year Award".
Motion D5-04-22 "That the following be accepted as Volunteer Recognition Awards:
Coach of the Year - Bill Rodgers
Official of the Year - Geri-Louise Lamers
Player of the Year - Breanne Beattie
Offensive Player of the Year - Sarah Bryant
Goalie of the Year - Kelsey Lechappelain
Adult Volunteer of the Year - Lorraine Wilson

Association of the Year - West Ferris Ringette and Upper Ottawa Valley Ringette
Provincial Builder - Peter Rumble
Community Builders - Sabrina Guay, Bob Dearden, Seija Saarinen, Bridget Ikola, Kerri Haswell, Mike O’Grady, Brian Tapscott, Glen Gaudet, Paul Silbernagel and Tim Simms".
Motion D5-04-23 "The changes to the Operating Manual as per the attached mark-ups be implemented".
Motion D5-04-24 "That Athlete Development recommends the Board accepts implementation of the Provincial Skills Instructors Program (PSIP) as of June 1, 2005".
Motion D5-04-25 "That the attached document be added to the ADP section of the manual as a subsection "Affiliate Players" of the program mandate section. This section would become 1. E and the current 1. E would become 1. F".
Motion D5-04-26 "That each regional AAA team should have two sets of jerseys, one predominantly dark and one predominantly white. Uniform numbers on both sets must be the same and the players keep the same uniform numbers throughout the AAA season. Uniforms must meet the criteria of the Ringette Canada rule book".
Motion D5-04-27 "That Elite – Page 8 – 1.g.xii – delete paragraph in total".
Motion D5-04-28 "That add combined Intent to Proceed Form to Elite appendix of ORA Manual. (New Form for Manual with the additions)".
Motion D5-04-29 "That Sarah Watters and Lindsey Vivian be accepted as the Jackie Lajeunesse Scholarship Awards recipients for 2005".
Motion D5-04-30 "That the Executive Committee Reports be accepted as presented".
Motion D5-04-31 "That this meeting of the ORA Board of Directors be adjourned".
